Meet Drew C. Wheaton, Esq.

Drew Wheaton practices in the areas of business law, employment law, and estate planning, and he provides legal support to the civil litigation team.

Before law school, Drew worked at Nolo, a Berkeley legal self-help publishing company, where he researched laws and regulations found in Nolo books, online articles, and software products. Since graduating from law school, Drew has written numerous online articles relating to criminal law and criminal procedure. As a U-visa Immigration Rights Fellow at the International Institute of the Bay Area, Drew helped file VAWA and U-visa applications with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for low-income clients. He also worked for the California Public Utilities Commission, where he focused on the Commission’s responses to California Public Record Act requests and subpoenas.

Drew graduated from Willamette University with a B.A. in Philosophy. He received his law degree from William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, and he was a member of law review, a Clark County Family Law Mediator, and a student-attorney in Boyd’s Immigration Clinic. During law school, Drew interned for Judge Nathan Tod Young in the Ninth Judicial District Court in Douglas County. He is an active member of the California Bar.

Though Drew grew up near Atlanta, Georgia, he’s spent most of his time in California’s Bay Area. He enjoys indoor and outdoor rock climbing, soccer, cooking, film, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.

Meet D. Geno Menchetti, Esq.

D. Geno Menchetti is of Counsel. He represents a number of gaming clients throughout the United States and South America. He has an emphasis in real estate and business law. Having been a former Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada, he also takes an occasional criminal case.

After serving in the Air Force, Geno went to McGeorge School of Law where he graduated with a J.D. in 1974. At that time, he moved to Incline Village, and has lived here ever since. He considers it to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, rivaled, in his opinion, only by Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where he also has a home.

Active in community affairs, Geno has served on the Board of Directors and has been President of the Incline Village – Crystal Bay Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of Directors and has been the Chairman of the Incline Village – Crystal Bay Visitors and Convention Bureau. He was the charter member and served as President of both the Incline Village Rotary Club and the Tahoe-Incline Rotary Club. Geno can be found every 4th of July for the past 30 years at the Optimist picnic at Incline Beach.

Geno also has served as a member of and Chairman of the lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and now holds title of Chairman Emeritus for that very successful event held every year at Sand Harbor in July and August. Finally, Geno has a love for German Shepherd Dogs and serves on the Board of Directors of the Pet Network Humane Society.

Susanna Truax Kintz practices in the areas of business law, estate planning, trust administration, probate, and asset protection. Susanna is licensed in Nevada, California, and Illinois.

Susanna represents businesses relocating to or organizing in the state of California and Nevada, including assisting clients with shareholder, partnership and LLC operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, investor and owner-financed lines of credit and other secured transactions, contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.

Susanna assists both business clients and individuals with all their estate planning needs, including estate and gift tax mitigation, business succession, charitable gifting, special needs planning, trust administration, probate, and trust litigation.

Susanna’s asset protection practice combines her business law and estate planning practice with her knowledge of fraudulent transfer, bankruptcy and family law, which enables Susanna to devise creative strategies to achieve meaningful creditor protection. Susanna also assists clients in prosecuting and defending fraudulent transfer claims.

Susanna graduated from the University of Southern California with a dual degree in mathematics and economics. Susanna earned a JD degree from Chicago Kent College of Law with honors, where she was a member of the law review. Susanna worked for Vedder Price in Chicago, in the corporate and securities law practice area. Susanna earned an LLM in International Taxation from Thomas Jefferson School of Law with highest honors, focusing in the area of asset protection, international transactions and international estate planning.

Susanna moved to Nevada in 2010 to pursue her asset protection practice under the favorable tax, trust, and business laws of Nevada. Susanna enjoys the Lake Tahoe life style and is an avid skier, hiker, volleyball player, and mountain bike rider. Susanna is the mother of four grown children.

Meet Devon T. Reese, Esq.

Devon T. Reese primarily practices in the area of civil litigation. Devon has significant experience litigating and guiding clients through complex matters involving commercial disputes, employment harassment claims, discrimination and wrongful discharge disputes, business disputes and family law matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.

Devon is proud to represent labor unions on the entire range of labor law matters before federal and state courts, arbitrators, and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Devon has a long history of successfully representing labor unions in a broad range of claims on behalf of the union’s members through grievance arbitration and litigation as well as resolving union institutional interests in cases involving dues collection, internal disputes, labor contracts, and representation proceedings.

Devon also served as the Vice President and General Counsel for a large, regional builder-developer. He was also the former managing attorney of the Reno law firm, Curiale Dellaverson Hirshfeld & Kraemer, where he focused on products liability, wrongful death, and professional claims defense litigation.

Devon graduated in 1996 from the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his law degree in 2000 from the University of Kansas School of Law. Devon is admitted to practice in the state courts of Nevada and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, the District of Nevada, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. He was privileged to clerk for the Honorable Justice Cliff Young at the Nevada Supreme Court. Devon is also a member of the Washoe County Bar Association.

Devon was born and raised in the Reno, Nevada area. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys competitive tennis, and the arts. Devon is also the proud father of three. He enjoys volunteering his time with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission, and also the United States Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots program.
